Directly Operated Railways Limited

Directly Operated Railways Limited (DOR) oversaw the management and development of the East Coast rail franchise until it was re-let to a new private operator.

Following the successful sale of the East Coast Main Line Company Ltd in March 2015, Directly Operated Railways Ltd is managed and operated directly by the Department for Transport’s Rail Executive.
