This Feature Class contains polygon spatial and attribute data relating to land and property owned by Waterways Ireland. Land and Property Owned constitutes the surface area of Waterways Ireland waterways out to the Waterways Ireland boundary fenceline.

Data were digitised from 1:1000 and 1:2500 scale historic paper maps dated from 1800 - 1985. Data were digitised to OSI and OSNI vector base maps at scales of 1:1000, 1:1250 and 1:5000.
