Water Framework Directive (WFD) Lake Waterbodies Cycle 1 (2008 -2013) is a polygon Shapefile dataset containing Water Framework Directive (WFD) attributes that have been collated as defined for the implementation of the Water Framework Directive. Article 2, clause 5 of the WFD defines them as '...a body of standing inland surface water'. This dataset contains data related to the physical characteristics, risk, classification and proposed objectives that can be linked to water bodies by their unique identifiers.
