S2 to be maintained and enhanced vitality and viability of town centres (28), S3A prioritisation of refurbishment and enhancement of insecure S2 centres, S4 shopping frontage policy control of A1 retail to a non-retail use, S6 areas of known deficiency in access to convenience goods retailing.
