Hydrodynamic data from the interface between expanding and eroding mangrove forests in the Mekong delta, Vietnam, June-August 2022

This dataset contains acceleration data measured from low-cost and open-source bottom-mounted floats called 'Mini Buoys', to identify hydrological tipping points between expanding and eroding mangrove edges in the Mekong Delta, Vietnam, from 25-06-2022 to 31-08-2022. Acceleration data are available at three locations in the Mekong Delta: Ca Mau, Kien Giang and Soc Trang. Ca Mau contains acceleration data from 7 Mini Buoys; Kien Giang contains acceleration data from 5 Mini Buoys; Soc Trang contains acceleration data from 7 Mini Buoys. Each Mini Buoy's (for the different sites) acceleration data are stored in .csv files in three parent folders. Each .csv file contains equipment metadata and raw acceleration data at sub-minute intervals (in the format DD/MM/YYYY HH:MM:SS). Acceleration data are measured as gravity-compensated acceleration values in g-force (G). Full details about this dataset can be found at https://doi.org/10.5285/2807c801-4ab0-4584-89ff-fcc325451373
