Constitution

Liverpool City Council has agreed a Constitution which sets out how the Council operates, how decisions are made and the procedures which are followed to ensure that these are efficient, transparent and accountable to local people. Some of these processes are required by the law, while others are a matter for the Council to choose. The Constitution is divided into 8 Parts, 14 Articles. More information about the current constitution (and previous constitutions) can be found on our website. Local Government Transparency Code 2015 This is a key dataset which the government wants local authorities to publish. https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/local-government-transparency-code-2015
