British Geological Survey (BGS) Sampling Survey 1990/1: Drilling, west of Scotland

This sampling survey has been carried out by, British Geological Survey (BGS) in collaboration with a group of oil companies for Offshore Regional Mapping, the survey took place from June to July 1990 to the north and west of The Hebrides on board the M/V Bucentaur. The purpose was to collect data to enhance the geological knowledge in the area. Sample data (borehole) were collected using wireline drilling equipment. These data are archived by BGS.
