British Geological Survey (BGS) Sampling Survey 1974/19: Beach/Tidal zone: Orkney and Shetland Islands (07/Sep/1974 to 09/Nov/1974)

This British Geological Survey (BGS) marine sampling survey took place in 1974 along the coastline of the Orkney and Shetland Islands. The purpose was to collect beach samples as part of an offshore regional geological mapping programme. Beach samples were collected by hand. These data are archived by BGS.
