British Geological Survey (BGS) Geophysical Survey 1969/6: Southern North Sea (11/09/1969 to 30/09/1969)

This geophysical survey has been carried out by Institute of Geological Sciences now British Geological Survey (BGS) for BGS, the survey took place in September 1969 in the southern North Sea off East Anglia on board the MV Moray Firth IV. The purpose was to collect data as part of the UK regional mapping programme. Sea floor data were collected using echo sounder and transit sonar. Sub-bottom profiling data were collected using sparker. Magnetometer was collected. These data are archived by BGS. No BGS survey report currently available.
