British Geological Survey (BGS) Geophysical and Sampling Survey 1977/JM/6: Brent Pipeline Survey, Northern North Sea (29/05/1977 to 15/06/1977)

This British Geological Survey (BGS) marine geophysical and sampling survey took place from May to June 1977 in Northern North Sea on board the RRS John Murray. Seabed samples and cores were collected using Shipek grab, Gravity corer and cone dredge. Seafloor data was collected using Transit Sonar (MS47). Subsurface seismic data were collected using a Pingerand Sparker. A geochemical eel was also used. Towed seabed Gamma-ray spectometer demonstation - Report by Miller & Roberts.
