2017 Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA) Montrose Basin Intertidal Seagrass Survey

Trial Intertidal seagrass survey in conjunction with a Macroalgal Blooming (MAB) survey in the Montrose Basin, Scotland. This was for the EU Water Framework Directive Monitoring using the WFD (Angiosperm) Intertidal Seagrass tool. The tool looks at the species composition of the seagrass bed, the density (as percent cover) and the extent of the seagrass bed.
