British Geological Survey (BGS) Sampling Survey 1977/JM/8: Northern North Sea (13/Jul/1977 to 14/Jul/1977)

This British Geological Survey (BGS) marine sampling survey took place in July 1977 south of Orkney Islands on board the RRS John Murray. This University of Glasgow, department of Geology survey was led by G. Farrow, BGS acquired data for offshore mapping. Seabed samples and cores were collected using Shipek grab, Gravity corer.
